KlimaUnion gGmbH is a German non-profit limited company that advocates for an ambitious, evidence-based, and cross-partisan climate action policy. We are committed to the goals of the Paris Agreement. Our aim is to develop practically viable solutions for the decarbonisation of Germany and Europe, as well as to foster a constructive debate on climate action policy.

We pursue a cross-sectoral approach, covering energy and industry, transport and buildings, agriculture and forestry, as well as international climate policy. We advocate for a sustainable, market-based transformation. In doing so, we bring together policymakers, industry, and the scientific community to jointly develop innovative and implementable solutions.

Through dialogue and events, we raise awareness for climate protection at political and societal level. We also publish reports, including studies and legal opinions, that allow us to develop robust cases underpinning our goals. Scientific expertise and cross-party exchanges form the basis of our work, enabling the development of an effective, long-term climate action policy.
